Frequently Asked Questions

Do you really know wine?

Our alcohol free wines are of excellent varietal born and absolutely proven in production of high quality wines. Some of the wines are aged in small oak barrels and all of them are refined and filtered according to the best traditional methods. Just before bottling, we filter and eliminate the alcohol from the wine. The dealcoholized wines have their own personality, fruity and aromatic but lighter in texture and taste wines with alcohol. Compared to conventional wines, texture and color are very and similar in presentation and ritual. The flavor is also very similar and can be confused in blind wine tastings.

In the mouth, alcohol-free wines are complex and full of flavor hues resulting from fermentation and are not at all similar to musts. The white, rosé and sparkling, have a very similar flavor. The reds are similar and complex differing only in a slightly lower dryness and density in the mouth.

Is it a substitute for alcoholic wine?

No, the alcohol-free wine is not intended as a substitute. Simply, it is an alternative to alcohol wine, natural and very similar and when one does not want to drink alcohol.

What is the difference with juice and other beverages without alcohol?

Alcohol wines are completely different from the musts or flavored juices. Our wines are alcohol wine quality made from the best grapes, which are fermented, filtered and of age following the traditional method of making wine. At the end of the process, alcohol is removed and still respects the organoleptic properties. This allows the consumer to enjoy the pleasure and properties of a fermented wine without the alcohol.

Why is it so important to control the temperature in dealcoholization process?

Some methods require a one temperature evaporative process de-alcoholization to remove the alcohol. Heat also damages the natural taste of the grape. Only wines that go through a cold de-alcoholization process can retain the aroma and flavor after drying out. Only wine that has not been heated or subjected to physical stress at any time, will result in a wine that will retain all the characteristics of the wine making process.

Can diabetics drink alcohol-free wine?

The legal definition of a drink called  “mocktails” in Spain requires that the product contains less than 1% alcohol volume. All our wines contain much less than that.
